Junior Logistics Analyst – DMSMS PMA-261

ASI is seeking a Junior Logistician to work in Patuxent River, MD. supporting PMA-261 DMSMS. This position is eligible for hybrid work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide logistics support to PMA-261 Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) IPT Lead for the CH-53 helicopter
  • Provide analysis and management of IPS Elements supporting CH-53K weapon systems
  • Conduct logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses and provide recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training, LSA/LORA, and SE programs
  • Provide recommendations for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Life of Type buys, Program of Record (POR) analysis, Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), DMSMS market research and analysis, and sparing and provisioning of parts for the CH-53K weapon systems
  • Analyze and assess Bill of Materials (BOMs) to assist in DMSMS planning and management
  • Develop, maintain, and provide minutes and action items from DMSMS review boards
  • Maintain records associated with all DMSMS issues, their approved disposition and resolution, and the associated costs
  • Provide DMSMS records as resource material in developing annual budget requirements for the DMSMS program
  • Provide recommendations to minimize the logistics footprint, maximize reliability, ensure maintainability, and address long-term issues related to DMSMS/obsolescence management, technology refreshment, modifications and upgrades, and overall usage under all operating conditions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient with data analytics (data mining, compilation, analysis, and forecasting)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional, virtual, and project-based teams
  • Proven adaptability and flexibility
  • Proficient with inventory databases and logistics-related systems
  • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
