Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in the Jacksonville, FL office. The candidate will provide human resources support to all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to learning and growing in a human resources role. Prior human resources experience is helpful, but desire to assist employees and enhance the organization is required.

The Human Resources Coordinator will have the opportunity to participate in many aspects of human resources from data management and onboarding to benefits, compensation, and performance evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain files and databases
  • Interact with and become a resource for employees
  • Maintain HRIS and personnel files
  • Participate in recruiting, including job postings, applicant tracking, hiring manager assistance, and reporting
  • Participate in benefits administration and enrollment
  • Assist with long-term human resources projects
  • Respond to reference checks and verifications of employment
  • Onboard and track new hire progress
  • Review and recommend updates to human resources policies and procedures
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of human resources best practices and regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior administrative or office/clerical experience
  • Desire to develop human resources qualifications
  • Ability to interact with employees at many levels and locations
  • Understanding of importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or credits toward degree, in business, human resources, psychology, or related field
  • 1 year of human resources experience
  • Experience with federal, state and local laws, as well as labor laws and compliance
  • Experience with UKG
