E-2D Logistics Analyst (Maintenance Planner)

ASI is seeking an E-2D Logistics Analyst / Maintenance Planner to work in Patuxent River, MD. This position supports the E-2D Maintenance Planning Team, PMA 231 program office.

Responsibilities:

  • Support maintenance planning efforts through research and analysis of source data to make recommendations to customers for projects relating to IPS elements
  • Provide technical expertise and prepare documentation and technical reports to support analyses. These activities include collecting, compiling, investigating, researching, and analyzing data from multiple databases and technical drawings
  • Provide assistance to customers in multiple areas of expertise related to supportability, sustainment, logistics support analysis, and maintenance planning
  • Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems
  • Develop and document logistics product data, LORA, maintenance task analysis, maintenance plan development, and supply support effort

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of specialized experience in one or more logistics disciplines
  • Bachelor’s degree
    • 4 or more years of additional specialized experience in one or more logistics disciplines or 15-20 years of directly related military experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience analyzing logistics and maintenance in the performance of maintenance planning across the full spectrum of lifecycle planning, Including design interface, maintenance planning, and sustainment engineering
  • Extensive GEIA-STD-0007 database (preferably SLIC) working level experience and strong understanding of data table relationships. An understanding of relationships between LSA processes/products. For example: Importing/exporting LPD from a GEIA-STD-0007 database, reconciling LPD database errors, familiarity with XML schema, populating tables to develop LSA-024/Maintenance Plans for a specific platform, creating LCN structures, updating LPD for SMR Code changes, updating B tables for R&M actuals to align with RCM, updating LPD for TPDRs/tech pub changes, writing maintenance procedures in LPD by creating data modules using S1000D format, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite tools for data analytics, including Excel for VBA/advanced formulas and Word macros
  • Experience in detailed research and data mining and strong problem-solving skills by “following the data”
  • Familiarity with Logistics Supportability Analysis (LSA), Logistics Product Data (LPD), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) and other supportability analyses
  • Experience in maintenance planning and logistics support/supportability analysis
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills

  • E2-D Maintenance Planning and Supply Support Experience

  • $35.00 - $58.00 per hour
