Marketing Intern

Department: Commercial Sales & Marketing

ASI is seeking a Marketing Intern to work in our Jacksonville, FL office. This person will be responsible for collaborating with other marketing and sales professionals to develop successful marketing campaigns and create and maintain a strong online presence for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with creation and monitoring of all social media content
  • Participating in tracking and reporting on the performance of social media campaigns
  • Learning to use social media marketing tools to support and enhance the company brand
  • Participating in market research efforts to better understand target audience
  • Supporting the analysis of the digital marketing plan and social media strategy
  • Contributing to the research of current social media trends
  • Updating company database and customer relationship management system (CRM)
  • Assisting with coordination of tradeshow registrations and preparation of marketing materials
  • Aiding in the maintenance of tradeshow giveaway item inventory
  • Performing supportive administrative functions as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in communications, marketing, design, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and desire to learn more
  • Experience in creating effective designs, social media posts, and branding
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Proficient in computer software including Microsoft 365

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with graphic design tools
  • Experience using a CRM, Captivate, Articulate 360, Adobe Premier, or similar

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
